JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Warehouse Supervisor or In-charge to lead and manage the efficient operations of our fast-paced hypermarket warehouse in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of success in a high-volume, retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products, including fresh produce, frozen goods, and non-perishables.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar software.
- Conduct regular stock checks, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and spoilage while maximizing profitability.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse personnel, including pickers, packers, and drivers.
- Plan and optimize warehouse layout and workflow to ensure efficient product flow and maximize space utilization.
- Coordinate with transportation providers for timely and cost-effective deliveries to branches.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure product integrity and freshness.
- Inspect incoming goods for quality and quantity, and address any issues promptly.
- Manage product recalls and returns effectively.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and warehouse costs.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
*Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or In-charge in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in a hypermarket setting.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

- Proficiency in using WMS and other relevant software.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Other Requirements:*
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- Experience working in the Middle East (preferred).
- Fluency in English (essential); Arabic language skills are a plus.
