- Bachelor Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university and a qualification from a graduate/post-graduate level programme of study in landscape architecture accredited by the following
- UK: Landscape Institute (LI) UK US: Council of Landscape Architecture Registration Board (CLARB) Italy: Association of Landscape Architecture (AIAPP) Australia: The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) Canada: State Landscape Architecture Licensing Authority
- Qualifications should meet the criteria to register as Landscape Architect Category A with CRPEP in Bahrain
