Responsibilities

• Implements the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for the Security functions.
• Documents the Service Provider’s (SP’s) performance as prescribed in the QASP
• Is responsible for developing the Continuity of Operations (COOP) formulation, Threat Assessment articulation, Security and Facility assessment
• Serves as the liaison with Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain Security Officer
• Knowledge of security requirements established by legislation, regulation and various policy statements as they relate to Personnel, Information, and Physical Security.
• Serves as the depot Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Officer
• Responsible for the protection of classified information maintained by the CGA.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience

One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Implementing a quality assurance surveillance plan concerning service provider performance. Working with security requirements established but legislation, regulation and various policy statements as they relate to personnel, information, and physical security. Briefs command on security related program management.
