About the Role;">Le Meridien is seeking a Government Relation Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time position, open to Saudi nationals only, with an experience requirement of 0-1 years. The specialist will play a key role in supporting management and the leadership team with various Human Resources functions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist management and the leadership team in handling and resolving Human Resources issues.
• Support employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.
• Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and related issues.
• Coordinate and conduct applicant screenings, including drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and social security number verification.
• Maintain logs for applicant flow, drug screens, orientation, and transfer requests.
• Create and maintain new hire and personnel files, and accurately enter them into Human Resources Information Systems.
• Assist with the orientation of new employees.
• Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with local, state, federal laws, and company policies and standards.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, such as interview documents and I-9s.
• Support the processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies and procedures, as required.
• Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property.
• Create and maintain organized filing systems.
• Generate Human Resources data reports as necessary.
• Answer phone calls and record messages accurately.
• Create and type office correspondence using computer applications.
• Serve as a Human Resources subject matter expert and participate in project teams.
• Train new hires on Human Resources processes, programs, policies, and information systems.
