Inventory Controller

Job description

• Receiving and Processing: Unloading deliveries, verifying packing slips, inspecting for damage or discrepancies, and correctly logging new items into the Inventory Tracking System.
• Stock Organization & Storage: Storing materials in designated locations, rotating stock, and organizing items to ensure easy access, proper ventilation, and compliance with safety codes.
• Issuing and Replenishment: Fulfilling approved supply requests (requisitions) accurately, tracking outgoing goods, and restocking the sales floor or production areas as needed.
• Inventory Control: Assisting with cycle counts and regular Stock Takes, identifying missing, expired, or damaged items, and reporting anomalies to management.
• Maintenance & Security: Keeping the storeroom clean, restricting access to authorized personnel, monitoring conditions (like temperature-controlled environments for perishable goods), and removing hazards.
