Senior Software Tester

Job description

Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts Design and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or similar Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories Identify, log, and track defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution Perform performance, load, and stress testing to validate system scalability and reliability Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and maintain test documentation Mentor and guide junior testers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement Required Qualifications:6 10 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testingStrong proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP/UFT, or equivalentSolid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologiesExperience in performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar toolsProficiency in writing SQL queries and scripting (Python, JavaScript, or Shell)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and lead testing efforts in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:ISTQB or equivalent professional certificationExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesFamiliarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST AssuredKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud-based testingExperience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android)Previous experience leading QA/testing teams or projects
