Job Description

  • Develop and master detailed financial models through forecasting in order to carry out company valuations via discounted cash flow method;
  • Help acquire information on potential investments and the competitive landscape to ensure appropriate valuations and make financially sound investment decisions;
  • Keep abreast of evolving market and industry trends especially concerning assigned regions and market players and update in-house databases to promote team's impact, to contribute to deal sourcing activities and efforts to establish relevant strategic partnerships;
  • Participate in due diligence efforts, including reviewing legal documents, conducting ESG and risk assessments, financial analysis and supporting on compliance workstreams while identifying key risks and opportunities;
  • Gather market data to analyze trends and help value companies and price transactions;
  • Perform preliminary analysis of potential jurisdiction(s) for setting up investment vehicles (tax implications and investment protection aspects must be considered);
  • Support in the drafting of presentations and memoranda to the Investment Committee (IC), investors, strategic partners, and other stakeholders (e.g., financial institutions, insurance providers, etc.);
  • Attend team discussions and investor meetings, with necessary support on required preparatory works, including briefing senior members of the team on key discussion items;
  • Attend meetings and taking minutes to share with colleagues and track open action items to help deliver a culture of execution;
  • Provide analytical support and insight to more senior members and act as the liaison for the team and other verticals of the company;
  • Participate in mandatory trainings and understand the company's internal policies;
  • Support fundraising efforts and investor relations activities;
  • Assess and analyze the profile, status, performance, and results of investors and partners, under the supervision of senior officers;
  • Assist in building relationships with existing and potential LPs and co-investors;
  • Keep abreast of evolving fundraising trends especially concerning assigned regions and investors and update in-house databases to promote team's impact;
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested.



SKILLS

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant post-undergraduate experience and track record in private equity and/or investment banking.
  • MSc in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a similar discipline
  • Financial Acumen: strong analytical skills, high intellectual curiosity, and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, complex formulas)
  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken. French would be a Plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
