DESCRIPTION

Arab Unity School is searching for a dynamic educator who will facilitate our school’s further improvement. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Dubai School Inspection Bureau framework, will have significant experience, and a proven track record of school improvement, and will be an expert in all aspects of the National Curriculum of England. Successful candidates will simultaneously serve as the expert on Teaching and Learning while also managing the school’s business affairs.

The principal is responsible for the implementation of the Board’s strategic vision and the day-to-day management and general welfare of the school. The Principal is accountable to the AUS Board of Governors on all policy matters and works with the School Leadership Team to implement policy and manage the school. As the chief administrative and supervisory officer of the school, the AUS Principal is responsible for the execution of Board policies, for the implementation of regulations by all employees, for administration, supervision, and leadership in school programmes, and for all other educational, administrative, social and recreational activities connected with the school.

• Coordinate professional development activities for staff.
• Work constructively in securing staff involvement and support for the development and implementation of instructional changes.
