Location: Riyadh
Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Assess risks and develop strategies to minimize workplace hazards and accidents.
Organize and conduct safety training programs for employees, including emergency preparedness, first aid, and fire safety.
Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of health and safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
Collaborate with department managers to address safety concerns and ensure compliance with company policies.
Ensure the proper maintenance and availability of safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and first aid kits.
Stay up-to-date with health and safety regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Promote a safety-first culture within the organization by raising awareness and engaging employees in health and safety initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Health & Safety Officer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and engage employees at all levels.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in preparing reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are highly desirable.
Familiarity with office environments and ergonomic safety is a plus.
