DESCRIPTION

• Prepares and implements ADVETI’s financial plans and strategy in line with the goals and objectives of senior management.
• Ensures the establishment of financial and commercial principles, systems, procedures and practices and ensure the timely preparation of financial and management reports and forecasts to senior management.
• Ensures the formulation of budgetary policies, procedures and processes, and that budget compilation takes place on a timely basis every year.
• Provides sound financial advice to the Director Support Services, Director General, Board of Trustees and other senior management colleagues.
• Reviews financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and oversees the preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize the current and projected financial position of the company.
• Reviews and authorize contracts, orders, and vouchers within discretionary authorities prior to settlement.
• Monitors financial transactions vis-à-vis projected cash and fund’s flows and initiates appropriate retrieval measures if required.
• Ensures that appropriate retrieval measures are taken relating to the accounting areas, based on reports submitted by Internal / External Auditors.

Language:

Fluency in the English language, Arabic desirable.

Experience:

8 – 10 years’ experience in the all aspects of finance functions of a reputed educational institution in the GCC of which a minimum of 3 years at a Senior Management level heading the function.

Education

Holding a Post Graduate Degree in Finance or Accounting and Professional Accounting Qualification
