About the role

A growing, multi-brand F&B group in Kuwait is seeking a Director of Operations to lead its restaurant, delivery and catering operations. The portfolio includes all-day dining, grill, bakery-café, and delivery concepts, supported by a central production kitchen.

Reporting directly to group leadership, the Director of Operations will be responsible for operational performance across all units. This includes strengthening established outlets, leading the turnaround of underperforming ones, and building the management capability needed to support the group's growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across all outlets and the central production kitchen, through the Multi-Unit Manager and outlet leadership teams

• Take full accountability for operational P&L performance, including sales, food cost, labour cost, wastage and guest satisfaction

• Develop and execute turnaround plans for underperforming units, with clear targets and timelines

• Establish and maintain consistent standards of service, presentation, hygiene and safety across all brands

• Implement KPI-based performance management and reporting for all outlets

• Develop managers and supervisors into a strong leadership bench

• Contribute operational expertise to new concept development and expansion

Working hours

Full-time, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends in line with business needs.

Skills

• 7+ years of experience in F&B operations, including at least 5 years leading multiple units or brands

• Proven P&L ownership, with at least one documented turnaround

• Experience in the Kuwait or GCC market

• Strong command of KPIs, data analysis and operational systems

• Track record of developing managers and supervisors

• Clear, confident communicator across staff, management and ownership

• Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
