The work visa & QID process

  1. Job offer & contract: You sign an offer with a licensed Qatari employer who sponsors your visa.
  2. Work visa & entry: The employer applies for your work visa and entry permit.
  3. Medical & biometrics: Completed after you arrive in Qatar.
  4. Qatar ID (QID): Your employer converts the visa into a work residence permit and issues your QID — which legalises your residence and lets you open a bank account, rent a home and more.
