About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an Area Manager for Fulfillment Center Operations in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and involves leading a diverse team within a fast-paced operational environment. The Area Manager will gain hands-on experience in the complexities of global business operations, focusing on maintaining efficiency and meeting demand.
Role Responsibilities

The Area Manager will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:
• Promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team and across the site.
• Analyzing and implementing corrective actions to ensure consistent quality and productivity, meeting business objectives across all shifts.
• Supporting and leading a team, managing administrative tasks, and fostering a strong team culture.
• Analyzing performance data and suggesting process improvements to optimize work and enhance customer service.
• Collaborating with other managers to standardize shift processes.
Daily Operations

This role involves working shifts at one of Amazon's operational sites. The primary focus will be on maintaining safety standards for the team and the site, as well as monitoring and maintaining process efficiency. Daily tasks will include routine team management, operational duties, individual escalations, process improvement initiatives, and wide-scale operational contingency planning. The Area Manager will collaborate with colleagues from other teams and external partners to ensure customer demands and targets are met. This involves analyzing data and performance metrics with business area leaders and discussing operational aspects of technical improvements with engineers.
Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in operations management or a similar leadership role within a fast-paced environment. Experience in leading diverse teams and driving productivity is essential.
