Job summary / introduction

The role holder is responsible for leading Distribution & Sales' strategic planning initiatives and providing performance support to Distribution & Sales teams. The role holder will lead key strategic initiatives including channel strategies, transformation projects, channel and role balanced scorecard framework, aggregated change plan for Distribution & Sales, value optimising performance support enablers and initiatives, Be Your Best strategic programme, as well as maintain an engaging internal communications framework. The role holder will own, lead, and promote the FABWay performance framework and D&S culture plan and provide direct stakeholder support for the Head of Distribution & Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Support, manage and deliver the Branch Transformation Plan in line with Distribution & Sales BEST Strategy and Consumer Banking Strategy.

• Lead optimisation initiatives to reduce costs and streamline the business aligned to Consumer Banking vision and the strategy plan.

• Work with key stakeholders to deliver key projects to evolve the branch network from transaction focused to digital and customer advisory focused.

• Develop and support transformation projects, channel strategies and manage change plans for Distribution & Sales, including Employee Banking.

• Lead the Distribution & Sales overall annual planning process and delivery of tools and enablers, including target allocation, balanced scorecards, incentives and campaigns.

• Own and lead FABWay Performance Framework and ensure the framework is embedded as a way of working across all channels and developed to support business growth.

• Own the delivery of the Business Knowledge plan and effective upskilling of front-line teams across all channels through training, clinics, how to guides, campaign support tools, FAQs and huddles.

• Drive the strategic Be Your Best initiative, colleague engagement plans, communications framework, business reviews and stakeholder support activities aligned to business needs and operating rhythm.

Requirements / qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in banking.

• At least 5 years in a similar role.

• Experience in planning, transformation, stakeholder management, frontline sales and colleague engagement.

Preferred / beneficial

Sales diploma or certification preferable.
