About the Role Our client requires a seasoned Civil Engineer with significant experience in Construction Supervision to oversee projects in Isa Town, Southern, BH . This hands-on role demands a practical understanding of construction processes, quality control, and site management. You will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage site operations and coordinate with contractors and various stakeholders. This position is crucial for maintaining the high standards of quality and safety on our client's construction sites within the Southern Governorate . Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to approved designs and project schedules. Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all quality assurance and quality control procedures. Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals from contractors. Conduct regular site inspections and maintain detailed records of progress, safety issues, and work quality. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to resolve site issues promptly. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project management. Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, in coordination with the project team. Perform quantity take-offs and assist in the evaluation of variation orders and claims. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction supervision and site management. Proven experience in supervising diverse construction projects (e.g., buildings, infrastructure). Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control techniques. Familiarity with contract administration and claims management. Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations in construction environments. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using construction management software and MS Office Suite. Experience working in the Bahraini construction industry is highly preferred.
