Collection Crew Leader

Job description

Job Purpose:
• Collection Crew Leader leads a team in the organization to take a project through the planning, and implementation phases.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide dedicated support to the assigned projects for material collection and movement from the project sites and transfer to the yard.
• Planning for the Manpower, Equipment & Transportation requirements for the projects.
• Responsibility for maintenance of mandatory documentation with the project details.
• Follow-up on the payments both receivables & payables of the assigned projects.
• Assist purchasing teams in estimation & planning activities.
• Coordinate loading and delivery activities to the Yards.
• Follow-up on delivery notes for every delivery from Sites to Yards
• Daily inspection of inward material & expense recording of the projects.
• Preparation of daily reports for the assigned projects.
• Conduct weekly project reviews and update reports with the managers as required.
• Develop a detailed working plan for the assigned project activities.
• Plan and execute projects within the given budget and propose effective cost optimization procedures.

Background Roles:
• Experience in project, inventory and material management activities, client relationship & supervisory role

Education:
• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering with specialization in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil.

Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills both English and Arabic
• Strong customer service experience.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
• Analytical and budgeting skills
• Ability to maintain a high standard of integrity and confidentiality
• Ability to identify and analyse problems and recommend solutions
• Attention to detail with high standards of professionalism
• Computer literacy especially experience with Microsoft suite is essential
• Preparedness to be flexible in work hours including some after-hours work
• May be required to undertake travel to within the kingdom to various branches, as well as out of country for business related purposes.
