Our client, a leading integrated academic healthcare system in Dubai, is seeking an exceptional Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (OBGYN) to join its multidisciplinary team.

This is an opportunity for an accomplished OBGYN specialist to contribute to the delivery and advancement of safe, high-quality, evidence-based and patient-centred women's healthcare.

The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care across a broad range of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services while demonstrating strong clinical leadership, professionalism, sound clinical judgment, patient safety and a commitment to continuous improvement and exceptional patient experience.

The ideal candidate will combine clinical excellence with academic and educational leadership, contributing to postgraduate medical education, research and the continued development of OBGYN services.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert Consultant-level care across Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions.
• Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
• Manage routine and high-risk obstetric cases according to clinical expertise.
• Perform appropriate obstetric and gynaecological procedures within the physician's scope of practice.
• Provide evidence-based management of complex clinical cases.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and coordinated patient care.
• Participate in clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical guidelines, protocols and care pathways.
• Demonstrate leadership in improving clinical outcomes and patient experience.
• Support the ongoing development and advancement of Obstetrics & Gynaecology services.

Academic & Educational Leadership;

The Consultant will play an important role in postgraduate medical education and the development of the next generation of OBGYN specialists.

Responsibilities will include:
• Leading and strengthening postgraduate OBGYN residency education.
• Contributing to curriculum development and educational strategy.
• Providing clinical, bedside and case-based teaching.
• Supervising, mentoring and assessing residents and trainees.
• Supporting faculty development and educational initiatives.
• Participating in competency-based assessments and examinations where applicable.
• Creating and maintaining a high-quality learning environment.
• Mentoring junior physicians and supporting their professional development.

Research & Scholarly Activity

The successful candidate will contribute to the academic mission of the organization through:
• Clinical research and scholarly activities.

Requirements
• Medical degree such as MBBS, MD or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Valid specialist/consultant registration or professional licence in the country of current practice.
• Strong clinical experience in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex and high-risk obstetric and gynaecological cases.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated experience in postgraduate teaching, supervision or mentoring.
• Active involvement in research, publications, clinical audit or quality improvement is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Eligibility for the applicable UAE/Dubai professional licensing requirements.
