Corian Hand-Skill Technician

Job description

Fabricate Corian and solid-surface products according to approved drawings and measurements.Cut, route, shape, bond, and assemble solid-surface materials.Create seamless and professionally finished joints.Sand, polish, and finish surfaces to the required quality standard.Repair cracks, chips, scratches, and other surface defects.Read and follow shop drawings, templates, and production specifications.Take accurate measurements and prepare templates for custom fabrication.Operate and maintain fabrication tools and equipment safely.Inspect finished products for dimensions, surface quality, edges, and joint visibility.Identify and resolve fabrication or installation problems.Perform installation and adjustments at the site when required.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Report material defects, technical issues, or production problems to the supervisor.Follow company quality, safety, and production procedures. Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Corian, solid-surface, or similar material fabrication.Proven experience in cutting, routing, bonding, jointing, sanding, and polishing solid-surface materials.Strong experience in seamless jointing and surface finishing.Experience repairing cracks, chips, scratches, and damaged surfaces.Ability to read shop drawings, measurements, and templates.Experience fabricating countertops, vanities, sinks, wall panels, or custom solid-surface products.Ability to use routers, saws, sanders, drills, clamps, and related fabrication tools.Ability to take accurate measurements and prepare physical or digital templates.Basic knowledge of tool maintenance and dust-extraction systems.Good understanding of quality control and workshop safety procedures.Technical/Vocational Certificate in carpentry, joinery, interior fit-out, or a related field is preferred.Strong hands-on skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.Experience with site installation and adjustment is an advantage.
