Flexographic Printing Machine Operator

Job description

Operate a 6-color central drum flexographic printing machine to print on kraft paper. Responsible for machine setup, print quality, color registration, and basic maintenance to ensure consistent output with minimal waste..Must have experience operating a 6-color central drum flexographic press printing on kraft paper.? Experience with central drum flexo (not stack type)? 6-color printing experience? Kraft paper printing experienceDuties & Responsibilities:Set up and operate the 6-color central drum flexo pressLoad kraft paper rolls and prepare inksAdjust color registration, tension, and print alignmentMonitor print quality during production runsTroubleshoot and fix print defects (smudges, misalignment, color mismatch)Perform minor machine maintenance and cleaningMeet daily production targets and reduce material wasteFollow safety and quality standardsCoordinate with the production team and supervisorQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredTESDA NC II (Printing) is a plus3-5 years of experience operating flexographic printing pressesHands-on experience with central drum (CI) flexographic pressesExperience printing on kraft paper or similar paper substratesKnowledge of 6-color printing processes and color matchingAbility to read and interpret job orders and production specificationsStrong attention to detail and quality focusBasic computer skills for machine control and data entryPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsWillingness to work rotating shiftsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with central impression (CI) drum flexographic pressesKnowledge of ink viscosity control and color management systemsFamiliarity with kraft paper printing and paper handlingExperience with 6-color or multi-color printing operationsTechnical training in printing or graphic arts High School Diploma or equivalent requiredTESDA NC II (Printing) is a plus3-5 years of experience operating flexographic printing pressesHands-on experience with central drum (CI) flexographic pressesExperience printing on kraft paper or similar paper substratesKnowledge of 6-color printing processes and color matchingAbility to read and interpret job orders and production specificationsStrong attention to detail and quality focusBasic computer skills for machine control and data entryPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsWillingness to work rotating shiftsExperience with central impression (CI) drum flexographic pressesKnowledge of ink viscosity control and color management systemsFamiliarity with kraft paper printing and paper handlingExperience with 6-color or multi-color printing operationsTechnical training in printing or graphic arts
