Grocery Supervisor

Job description

Supervise the grocery/FMCG team: daily tasks, shift handovers and floor discipline Keep aisles fully stocked, faced and priced to the planogram throughout trading hours Plan replenishment with the back store so fast movers never run empty at peak times Execute promotions, gondola ends and seasonal displays on schedule Enforce FIFO rotation and daily expiry checks; remove near-expiry and damaged stock Monitor availability gaps, negative stock and ordering issues with the inventory team Train and develop salesmen on merchandising and customer-service standards Keep the section clean, safe and audit-ready at all times 3+ years' grocery/FMCG experience in a hypermarket or large supermarket, including supervisory duties Strong knowledge of planograms, replenishment and expiry/rotation control Able to lead and motivate a multicultural floor team Comfortable with stock reports, availability checks and handheld devices Customer-focused with confident communication in English; Arabic an advantage Flexible with shifts, weekends and peak-season hours GCC experience an advantage
