We Are Hiring: Head of Quality
We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead and oversee all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for major Oil & Gas projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with project quality requirements throughout all phases, from FEED, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-Up.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead and manage all project Quality activities across the project lifecycle.
✅ Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System.
✅ Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely submission of quality documentation.
✅ Ensure compliance with contractual quality requirements, ITPs, and vendor surveillance procedures.
✅ Plan and lead internal and external audits involving EPC contractors, vendors, and fabrication yards.
✅ Manage NCRs, deviations, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
✅ Provide technical quality support during tendering and bid evaluation activities.
✅ Lead continuous improvement initiatives and quality performance reporting.
✅ Mentor and manage project quality personnel and ensure adequate inspection coverage and competency.
✅ Ensure compliance with international standards including ISO 9001, API, ASME, ASTM, AWS, IEC, and related industry requirements. Requirements
Education
🎓 Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences.
Experience
✔ Minimum 10 years of Quality experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
✔ Minimum 2 years in a supervisory, lead, or management capacity.
✔ Proven experience with Oil & Gas operators, EPC contractors, vendors, and service companies.
✔ Strong experience managing Quality requirements during FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-Up phases.
✔ Extensive knowledge of QA/QC systems, Quality Management Systems, and international industry standards.
Skills
✔ Strong leadership and team management abilities.
✔ Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
✔ Experience conducting audits and managing NCRs.
✔ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
✔ Fluent in English (written and spoken).
✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
