Oil Trading & Commercial Operations Specialist

Job description

Manage and follow up on email communications between buyers, sellers, suppliers, and business partners.Coordinate and monitor oil and petroleum product purchase and sales transactions.Follow up on commercial offers, quotations, contracts, purchase orders, and related documentation.Coordinate with buyers and sellers to ensure timely execution of agreed transactions.Monitor the progress of transactions from initial negotiations through completion.Coordinate with logistics, shipping, finance, and documentation teams when required.Maintain accurate records of commercial correspondence and transaction documents.Follow up on shipment schedules, delivery requirements, and relevant operational matters.Identify and communicate any delays, discrepancies, or issues affecting transactions.Maintain professional relationships with international buyers, sellers, suppliers, and business partners.Prepare regular transaction and follow-up reports for management. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in oil trading, petroleum products, commodity trading, or commercial operations.Strong understanding of oil trading and purchase/sales processes.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Strong email communication and business correspondence skills.Excellent follow-up, coordination, and organizational abilities.Ability to manage multiple transactions and communications simultaneously.Good understanding of commercial documentation and international trading procedures.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.Previous experience dealing with international buyers, sellers, suppliers, or trading companies is highly preferred.
