Process Engineer – JIT (Just-In-Time Manufacturing)

Job description

We are partnering with a leading Automotive Manufacturing organization in Saudi Arabia to hire an experienced Process Engineer – JIT to support and improve seat assembly processes within a demanding Just-in-Time manufacturing operation.

This role is ideal for hands-on manufacturing professionals with strong experience in automotive assembly, Lean manufacturing, line balancing, process improvement, and JIT/JIS operations.

Skills

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent technical qualification in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 3+ years of Process or Manufacturing Engineering experience within automotive seating production

• Direct Automotive Seating Assembly experience

• Experience with Just-in-Sequence (JIS) delivery operations

• Familiarity with controlled fastening systems, conveyors, automated inspection, and end-of-line testers

• Knowledge of CAD layout tools and manufacturing traceability systems

• Practical experience supporting assembly operations in a JIT or similarly demanding automotive environment

• Strong knowledge of line balancing, standardized work, Lean manufacturing, and structured root-cause analysis

• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and automotive quality requirements

• Strong ability to analyse production data and implement practical process improvements

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting shop-floor issues, bottlenecks, defects, and production stoppages

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
