Receptionist - Local Hire (Family Sponsored)

Job description

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role

• Proficiency in spoken and written English

• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic

• To be solely responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the school’s reception desk, providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for students, parents, staff, visitors and prospective families.

• Ensure consistent standards of service, accurate student attendance records and efficient administrative support across the school.

• To support the Admissions team with lead nurturing, timely follow-up of inquiries, booking of tours and assessments, admissions events, possible student withdrawals and the completion of student files.

• To align with the mission, vision, and values of Northview International School, Qatar and Artemis Education, creating a positive first impression of the school for our whole community

• Take sole ownership of the daily running of the assigned reception desk, ensuring it is staffed, organized and presented to a high standard throughout the school day.

• Greet visitors warmly and direct them to the appropriate staff member.

• Answer the telephone in a professional manner, accurately conveying information, recording and delivering messages; manage inquiries received by email or in person promptly and accurately.

• Ask appropriate questions to capture the required information from prospective families, with consistent attention to detail.

• Feedback from parents, staff and visitors

• Timely delivery of assigned tasks and projects

• Accurate data entry and record-keeping

• Friendly, professional and approachable manner

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Hold an International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or equivalent police clearance for all countries lived in, and satisfactory references.

• Hold a valid Qatar residence permit (QID) and be legally eligible to work in Qatar as a family sponsored.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, and a willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.
