Sales & Estimation Engineer – Interior Design & Fit-Out

Job description

La Vida Casa is looking for a Sales & Estimation Engineer with hands-on experience in interior design, fit-out, and contracting projects to join our team in Riyadh.

The role is responsible for handling new client inquiries from the initial contact and site visit through understanding the requirements, preparing the initial concept and estimation, submitting the technical and commercial proposal, and following up with the client until the project reaches the contracting stage.

Skills

Key Responsibilities
• Visit clients and project sites to understand project requirements.
• Take site measurements and collect all necessary technical information.
• Understand the client’s requirements, budget, and project scope.
• Prepare initial mood boards and concept presentations.
• Review drawings and specifications.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare professional technical and commercial proposals.
• Present proposals and solutions to clients.
• Follow up with clients and handle negotiations until the contracting stage.
• Coordinate with the internal design and execution teams when required.
• Maintain updated knowledge of fit-out materials, suppliers, subcontractors, and market prices in Saudi Arabia.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in interior fit-out, estimation, or contracting.
• Experience in the Saudi market is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of local suppliers, subcontractors, materials, and fit-out pricing.
• Strong skills in quantity take-off, costing, and estimation.
• Ability to prepare mood boards and initial presentations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage an opportunity independently from the initial inquiry through the pre-contract stage.
• Candidates currently based in Riyadh are preferred.
