Senior Cost Control Engineer

Location: Kuwait
Experience: Minimum 6 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish project budgets, cost codes, and cost-control procedures.

• Monitor committed costs, actual expenditure, and forecast final costs.

• Measure project progress and prepare payment applications.

• Review and evaluate subcontractor valuations and payment claims.

• Track variations, remeasurement, and commercial records in coordination with Project Managers and Supply Chain.

• Monitor project cost performance and identify cost variances.

• Support project cash-flow forecasts and financial reporting.

• Prepare and maintain accurate cost-control reports and commercial records.

• Support final-account preparation, reconciliation, and close-out.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related Construction discipline.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in post-contract Quantity Surveying or Cost Control.

• Experience in Construction, MEP, or Industrial EPC projects.

• Strong knowledge of post-contract measurement, valuations, and cost forecasting.

• Experience in variation control, remeasurement, and contract/BOQ interpretation.

• Proven experience preparing payment applications and subcontractor valuations.

• Strong experience in cost forecasting and final-account preparation.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP cost-reporting skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accurate reconciliation skills.

• Good English commercial correspondence and communication skills.
