Senior Supervisor Logistics

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Logistics Supervisor to join one of our giga projects in Riyadh

Job purpose

Lead field logistics operations and coordinate people, routes, plant, laydown areas, deliveries, and temporary facilities to support the project construction strategy.

Key responsibilities

· Translate the project logistics plan and short-term construction program into daily and weekly field priorities.

· Supervise logistics coordinators, charge hands, banksmen, traffic marshals, drivers, and general logistics labor.

· Coordinate gates, delivery slots, cranes, hoists, forklifts, laydown areas, waste routes, workforce access, and temporary facilities.

· Chair daily logistics coordination and resolve conflicts between work fronts, subcontractors, and shared resources.

· Inspect traffic routes, storage areas, barriers, signage, lighting, emergency access, and housekeeping standards.

· Monitor labor and plant productivity, overtime, equipment utilization, demurrage, and logistics costs.

· Lead immediate response to congestion, blocked access, breakdowns, spills, or delivery disruptions.

· Report performance, risks, constraints, and required decisions to the Logistics Manager and project team.

Skills

Minimum qualifications and experience

· Diploma or bachelor degree in logistics, construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.

· Minimum 8 years of construction logistics experience, including at least 3 years supervising logistics on major projects.

· Strong knowledge of traffic management, lifting interfaces, temporary facilities, plant coordination, and workforce management.

· Competence in reporting, look-ahead planning, digital trackers, and logistics drawings.
